View Full Version : Putting restrictions on the site.

I know that this site is a fairly friendly site. But I thought 600 guests and only 100 members being active is kind of sad. I thought that maybe some restrictions on viewing posts and things would encourage people to at least register and maybe contribute a little so they can view some threads. I hope this suggestion helps.

Ok thanks for pointing that out to me. I may of not been able to figure out why there is a lot more guests on the site than members. I think that there is more than enough active members anyways to keep up with the site and contribute.

Its not unusual to have many many more guests than active visitors. It goes with the territory.

If you put a restriction, it will annoy a lot of people because most of them hate to be forced to register..
on the other hand, if everyone can see how nice this forum is, they will maybe make an account and those who will make one will be active, because they are free to choose :)
