Forum and Rating [Archive]

Today i was looking for more to know about the behaviours of 5 rated (Idea) sites in katz. I just followed all the sites in first and second page. Obviously all of them are 5 rated :)

I just found an interesting thing here, all the sites in first and second page are FORUMS. I couldn't find a blog there. Is that mean, to get a 5 rating in katz, being a forum is compulsory? Or it is possible to get a blog 5 rated too?

Personally, I find forums trustworthy and to also contain negligible advertising. Forums have a lot better chance of being rated 5 stars compared to sites of other types. Thus the reason most 5 star sites are forums. This does not mean other sites aren't allowed to be 5 stars -- it's just rare.

I have one more question. How this blog can hold 5 star? It is in the first page with thesharebay, and it looks like it has 5 star.

Look at their movies downloads, they don't follow the new rules. There is no year defined. There are also problems in application and games posting.

The blog in question is clean and has no advertising whatsoever.

Forums are just more reliable in"General". Mainly due to feedback thats all

Forums usually do a lot of scamming. I think Blogs should also be rated 5 star. Blogs are fast loading than forums. I know there are many ads in blogs, but people need to pay for their hosting and other stuffs.

The issue of websites making money is not my problem. The lesser the advertising, the better for the users.

Warez Donkey is not a 5 star site.
