What about separations for the different kinds of software?

At first I have to apologize for my english language:(

I have to admit, I haven't got very many posts in here.
I am active in other forums since a long time, but this place is becoming my favourite.

So I would like to know:
What do you think about separations for the different kinds of software?

I mean instead of "Applications" there is e.g.:
Vista Downloads + Activation
General Windows Downloads
Audio & Video
Security & Spyware
Utilities & Drivers

And so on and so on...

Your grammar is fine. As for the suggestions most seem to get shot down or put on hold. This is a fine site but could turn into a spam ridden snake pit quite quickly. I hope it doesn't. PM me with some of your other forums if you like as I'd be interested.

Too many forums need more management. The site's users are happy with the current layout :).

for one im happy with the layout
and particularly dont like the seperations when i see them
people say its easier to find wat your looking for
but thats wat the search function is for
a forum can some times look like there is to much there
