so yeh just check it out and i currently need a couple uploaders but as of now im good but could use an extra hand so please come join and browse my forum and leave sugg or feed back=)

Forum administration

In phpBB3 there are no categories, everything is forum based. Each forum can have an unlimited number of sub-forums and you can determine whether each may be posted to or not (i.e. whether it acts like an old category). Here you can add, edit, delete, lock, unlock individual forums as well as set certain additional controls. If your posts and topics have got out of sync you can also resynchronise a forum. You need to copy or set appropriate permissions for newly created forums to have them displayed.

1) You create a category the same way as you create a forum, only on the settings page, where you specify the name, description etc. you select Category from the Forum type drop-down box

2) To have a forum displayed in the subforum list, you have to choose Yes next to List subforum in parent-forum’s legend on the same page.

phpbb3 doesn't allow categories but it does allow you to make parent forums ;). Just make a parent forum and stack all others under it. That should help.

As for the skins, if you want a unique skin then use some designing skills and edit the whole skin. That is, new icons, images, buttons, th and td bars, etc.

If your doing as subforums make sure you check out the "Show subforums in index" or something similar to that when creating your forums.
