Installed Design Premium as per instruction in the Readme file. I changed the name of "Adobe" folder under Application Support in Library in Macintosh HD. I did not change the name back (after patching) to Adobe. I openned Photoshop, which did partially open with an error that some essential files are missing or some error along these lines.
I changed the name of the folder in Application support back to Adobe and all opened perfectly fine (Dreamweaver, Flash, PS, Bridge etc). But the problem came with Acrobat 8 Pro. It opens, but after a few seconds (like 10), it gives an error that another application in the suite (like PS) must be opened prior to opening Acrobat. I tried opening PS and then Acrobat, but still the same.
Also, I tried working with Acrobat by changing the name of the folder (Adobe) to another name. Then when I opened Acrobat, the window asking for serial came up and it would not accept any serial from the KeyGen on any website (for Acrobat 8).
Basically, to sum it up, Acrobat does not open. With the name of the folder changed to something else, it asks for serial and PS does not open. With the name of the folder back to Adobe, PS works perfectly fine, but Acrobat asks for another application to be open before opening Acrobat.
Also, in the crack file, there is no crack for Acrobat. Others like Dreamweaver, Flash, PS, InDesign and Illustrator are addressed, but not Acrobat. Bridge does not need a crack.

I went into Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support and changed the name of the file back to Adobe. Then, PS opened. However, when I tried opening Acrobat, it did open, but after 10 seconds, it gave an error that one must open another application within the Creative Suite to be able to use Acrobat. I tried with PS opened and Dreamweaver opened, but to no avail.

Then I tried a totally different strategy: I changed the name of the Adobe file to something else in Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support and then tried opening Acrobat knowing that PS would not behave properly, which it did not. However, in Acrobat's case, a window containing license agreement came up. If you click next, it asks you for Name and serial. So basically, both ways one is doomed.

Did anyone else also encountered this problem? or is it just me? I am using Intel MacBook Pro 2.33MHz with OSX.

have U an Intel Mac or PowerPC ? cuz on my Intel iMAC works Great .

I have an Intel MacBook Pro. I never had CS2 on my computer. I had Macromedia Studio 8 before not Adobe Acrobat 7. I deleted some components of Studio 8, taking the entire folders to Trash bin. But I had kept Fireworks and ColdFusion from Studio 8. As far as Acrobat 8 Pro is concerned, no idea why it would not work. Anyone with a serial info for Acrobat 8 Pro for mac? That might just work.

Hi All,

I found a solution for my problem. Thought I should share it with all of you.

If after applying the crack you realize that Adobe Acrobat is giving you an error after 10 seconds that you need to open another Suite components such as PhotoShop, then I have a solution.

1) Remove the entire CS3 by using the installer. The installer would be located within the Applications folder in one of Adobe folders. Do not just remove the folders in Applications folder by moving them to Trash.

2) After uninstalling entire CS3, open finder and click on Macintosh HD in the left column. After this, lick on APPLICATION SUPPORT. You will see a folder called Adobe. Remove this folder by moving it to TRASH.

3) Restart your computer.

4) Install entire Suite (CS3).

5) DO NOT APPLY THE CRACK YET.

6) Open Photoshop. A window would come which will ask you to enter serial number OR use it as a Trial version. CLICK ON TRIAL and open Photoshop.

7) Close Photoshop completely and then apply the crack following instructions in the crack file.

8) Acrobat and all applications would work now.

Hi Charles...

I recently downloaded Adobe CS3 with the crack. Everything downloaded fine, and the program installed correctly.

However, whenever I attempt at using the crack (where I simply drag the Application into the Drop Zone of the crack), each and every time I've done this, it tells me that it can't be patched...?

I've tried everything to get it to work... uninstalling Adobe CS2, uninstalling Adobe CS3, reinstalling Adobe CS3... I really don't know what to do.

I tried your suggestion above, and it didn't seem to help me. I now have 29 days left on the trial to figure this all out before my trial runs out, haha.

Any suggestions?

Oh, and I'm running a MacBook Pro, 2 GHz Intel Core Duo, 1.5 GB MHz DDR2 SDRAM memory, OS 10.4.10, if that helps.
