Its where someone (in this case) posts a link to a download, and masks it as a rapidshare (or some other d/l service). Its a fake page, but people put in their user/pass and the person then gets a free rapidshare account.

I am a member of KATZ forum for a while and i am so happy to say that it has helped me in lot of problems and educating me a lot.

But this is regarding an unfortunate event, i met with just 2days back. I had posted a request for Tally Developer Crack and i received a PM which is attached below. I respect the KATZ forum and its members, which has been so helpful to me in various events. So i opened the link and tried the attachment download and unfortunately it resulted in LOSS of TOTAL DATA in my system. I had to format the system and reinstall Windows. I found all my partitions lost and i lost complete data which i had preserved as a result of my several years work.

I wish if this never happen to any one else. I don't know whom to contact or how to complain. Pls do take necessary action or educate me..

Never download the files that are pm'd to you unless you know the person.
You can also use virus total to scan the files you download even though you should be scanning them with your own AV as well.

If you look around the site, you will see quite a few of Avi 1234's posts and each of them appear fake. There are no legitimate screens, no description of the post (cam? ts? rip?) and an odd size of the file posted (not 700 meg or 1.4 g as in most uploads). Finally notwithstanding the many of Avi's posts I have looked at, each one of them has him at 1128 posts (in 2 months!!) and the 1128 number has not changed in the few fake posts I have seen. Strong evidence for a ban.
