TV White Space for wireless broadband internet

Does anyone have any clue how this is going to work? Apparently the FCC has approved it so I was wondering where can I find a TV White Space device or how can I build one. This should make me be able to get faster internet than what I have right now which is dial-up. Hope someone may know something because I am about tired of this $%&*@!^ slow internet I can't even download a movie but in 2 nights which I haven't done in a long while because not only does the computer suck power but 2 nights is just too long. Well I hope this helps other dial-up users if there are any here and if someone knows how this is going to work.

Sounds interesting, I heard something about Microsoft and Google backing and testing this system. It sounds good but i found this BBC page and at the end it give a small but significant list of anti White Space people.
