i have seen many 9 in 1 and 8 in 1 cds of most popular versions of windows how is it done?
a 700mb cd can hold data of 4.07Gb, how is it possible ?
is there any one to explain me?

the most sensible explanation is that the software products have been stripped to the bare essentials.

im not really sure how the compression works myself. i released a xp 8 in 1 here not long , but im afraid it isnt my work .
and yes its highly compressed, extracting the iso results in a 4 gig folder from a 700 mb cd-r .
i do know someone that makes and releases Os's maybe he can enlighten me . ill try to find out if he knows and try to rerepond to your question. i have always been curious myself .

Many versions of windows have the same files except for service pack type things etc ie: 95, 95b. 98, 98se and ME. 2k and XP Vanilla. just needs some boring scripting/research.
Apply this with kick arse compression and removing some non-essential crap and i would'nt be surprised to see a CD-R with all these on it :)
