I have a torrent for SolidWorks 2008 that I downloaded at home, I will need to upload it for you.... might take some time....

But yes that is 2007... But we use both here, and there is hardly any difference

the real problem with solidworks 2007 is that it will not run properly on vista, my laptop has vista home and i can't use it, i hope someone posts 2008 soon, thanks anyway :D

The SW 2007 on rapid share, that seems to be some iso type file. Dose anyone get a set up file from that or is it ready to use with a key as is or am I just too lame ?

you can extract the ISO with winrar

or you can burn it with nero

or mount it with alcohol

After 25 hours of downloading I finally got working rar files for the solidworks 2007. I am thankful. Now the crack indicates it has a virus. We wish to try this program out for a short time and if it works for us then buy it. Can anyone supply a key or what ever it takes to use this program for 90 days or so or less and then we can decide about it. We do not wish to run a program that idicates it is infected with the AV bit defender.

Thank you to all that are so helpful. After all of this, I cannot install it on windows 2000 and am stuck after all :( . Could install XP I suppose on a virtual pc and use it there.

Some firewalls will tell you that the crack has a virus because of the type of .OCX and .DLL files that are used to make it. You can usually still use the crack safely. You will have to descide to take the chance or not.8-)

Now I have installed Windows XP Pro and I get an installation error just after entering the serial that says installation characterists.

Does anyone know how to get around this or is there another serial?

So far so bad and good. I have learned about Alcohol and how it works. I think I can use Virtual PC about the same as well but have not checked this out. Hope it will mount the iso as well.

I have become a convert to Windows XP after a life time swearing I would not.

Was going to go for 2003 Server but ordered XP. I now understand this Solid works needs SP2 to work and the old cracked version of XP corporate now is flagged so I cannot get that.

I am sure there is cracks around this as well but not really seeking them.
