1. I like the layout, but projectw already has it. If you don't mind, keep it. I am just letting you know.
2. Get a custom logo... Which, if you want I could make ya one for free.
3. Take off the COPPA at registratoin.
4. Since your site is still smaller, take off the ad, or throw it down at the bottom...it will help the appeal for first timers.
5. Get a top level domain name.
7. The ads in the signatures are not very appealing.

The background is transparent so you can just put it up and it will match perfectly.
Even if you don't like this...its for sure better to have a logo that matches the site name, trust me.

EDIT: If you look reeeeeaaaallllyyyy close, my second image doesn't perfectly match up with the background.
You could give the transparent one a go...you might have better luck.

But either way, its barely noticeable.
