To everyone familiar with Katz ratings system... I have a quick question...

Are the stars based off of how new you are? Or is it mainly based off of appearance?

Because...
1. I don't have ads.
2. I don't have popups
3. No guest registration notifications
4. The posts are all informational.
5. The site loads quickly.
6. The skin is clean and straightforward.
7. I only have two ddl-style buttons. Katz and wjunction.


Is it just me, or does my forum just really suck that bad? :O
I mean, the lowest I ever started with was 3*

Any info would be great.
I am not complaining or anything, I am just really wondering what the downfalls of the site are.

You need to update the Katz Downloads button to exactly as provided by us.

I know all new sites start off with low ratings, but all of my other sites started at 3* :P

Probably so, but I've recently pushed staff to rate new sites no higher than 2 stars.

That makes sense then.

Because I've had 2 other sites (now shutdown).

One was a Blog that got 3/5 right off the bat, the other was a forum that got 3/5 right off the bat.

Makes sens to limit rankings if they are totally new.
