1. Think of a name, the name must be unique, dont pick the first thing that comes into mind, like: lost warez, warez bay, etc..
2.1 Buy a domain asociated with the name u picked , for example: site name: warez CP domain name should be: warezcpforum.com , wrzcp.net, etc
2.2 it doesnt matter where you buy your domain, you can use it on any host because you can change nameservers almost instantly
2.3 if you want a good price on domains i would recommed yahoo.com small biz, the domain is $2.99/1st year! there is various other websites that sell domains like ************* , and almost any hosting company!
3.1 after you bought a domain you need hosting, the host must have the folowing: mysql database, php (more is recommended but you can live with those 2)
3.2 here are some recommended hosts for starters, these are cheap and reliable:
--1. wrz*host not allowed? - MANY plans, hosted in hong kong, as low as $3.95/month(u can also pay quartery annualy and many more options) usd for 1gb space 100gb bwth - 10 db's - 5 pop accounts :)

3.3 after you pick a hosting company that ALLOWS warez linking (dont pick hostgator or w/e) you need to change the nameservers to the ones specified by your host
4.1 pick your style. by that i mean pick either blog or forum. blogs are less alive, users usualy dont register on them and if they do they usualy dont even comment. forums require much more responsability, they also get many more sign ups and discussion. i dont recommend you start a DDL script because there is so much competition its almost impossible to get into "the circle". Unless your filthy rich and know webmasters that own big sites(that would submit to your site) then you will probably fail at making a succesfull ddl site.
4.2 if you picked forum then you must pick again: Invision Power Board, phpbb, vbulletin or smf(there is many more but i would stick with the major ones). here is some stuff to better help you decide:
IPB - easy moderation with AJAX, lock topics with a click of a button, easy to understand admin cp. cons: not as many skins as others, but you probably wont need to worry about mods, its very customizable. you can find latest version(and addons) here (http://katz.cd/search/ipb) and here (http://katz.cd/search/invision).
simple machines forum - free - dont know much about this one, as the title says "simple" and you can get it here (http://www.simplemachines.org/). users can add on - just reply
phpbb - free - no AJAX, but there are mods that make phpbb fully "AJAXed out" . has most amount of mods than any other boards! easy administration although there is not much to moderate, mods are a must. i recommend downloading a fully modded ver 2.0 - you can find a download for free on google or if you want the "stock"/ regular version you can get it here (http://phpbb.com)
vbulletin - AJAX compatible, handles large amount of members well. the katz forum is vbulletin, very alike to ipb but has more modifications! download can be found here (http://katz.cd/search/vbulletin).
4.3 blog. ive got 1 word to say: wordpress.com
4.4 any choice you pick the installation should be easy. all you need to do is create a database for your forum/blog , you also might have to create a user for your database with all privelages assigned. after that all you have to do is go to the installation page and fill in database details. there is documentation with the download of each board/blog...
5.0 after you installed your forum/blog you need to add the following categies(recommended): news/announcements , general discussion, help desk, introductions = [general category - forums only] games, appz, movies, music, other, guest, requests = [downloads category - blogs dont need requests section, i dont think]
5.1.1 getting trafic - well as always the easiest and best traffic comes from katz.to, submit about 5 quality downloads to them (make sure they are in guests section), make sure all your downloads are quality posts, i almost always put an image with my downloads and i always code my download link and passwords. after you get approved by katz you can reupload others peoples stuff and ad a read me file that would say "reuploaded by xxxxxxx of sitename.com" replace xxxxxx with your name.

[B]6.1.1 Getting your money back! You payed for hosting, domain, and you worked hard on your forum! so why not get your money back? to do that you will need some ppc ads . Google adsense is the best ppc ad provider, and you can make good money off of them, atleast enough for hosting and domain. What you do is make a page in a directory that wont affect your site. Then you put sevral keywords, images and maybe some more keywords. google should accept your site, and after its been accepted you should can now put google ads on your main pages, althougi do recomment to encourage your members to click ads on the keyword page.
6.1.2 Another way to get money is clickbank.com , this is a great service. all you do is sign up and you can instantly post ads, and they will send you check! the good part is all you have to do is make 1 sale and your covered for about 6 months! here is one of there products(out of thousands of products you could affiliate): http://xxxxx.fullsoft.*******************/?d=Download_X_Now!
