New Sites

I have a new site and want to submit to Katz Downloads, what do I do ?
If you've set up a new site and want your site to get listed on Katz Downloads, here's the low down.
You need to make sure your site does not violate any of our rules (http://katz.cd/submit.php).
Once you believe your site is in harmony with the rules, go ahead and submit using the form at the bottom of this (http://katz.cd/submit.php) page.Verification Process

Submissions from new sites, like yours, will need to be validated. Staff members from Katz Downloads will visit your site to check that no rules are being broken.
If your site is found to be breaking one or more rules, we will either:
Email you regarding the necessary changes required (to the email address you provided during submission), or
Ban your site, in which case you can see the reason here (http://katz.cd/blacklist.php).If your site is satisfactory, we will go ahead and rate your site between 5 stars and a 1 star, where 5 is excellent and 1 is poor.

Note: This process is done periodically, and can take up to two weeks. So please wait a week before contacting us.
Once rated, your site is known as a "recognized site", since we now know your site.
Your submissions will be automatically added to the main queue (with all the other recognized sites).
From here on, all your [future] submissions (from that domain/site) will be added directly to the main queue.
Submissions in the main queue are checked and added to the main site at least once a day, although usually several times a day.

the theme is nice, well you obviously copy downloads off the form page(there is no problem with that at all, i would just reccommenf u registed at black bay tell X0G: F*ck You! and then copy there downloads, there having troubles with there site anyways...), the quality of the downloads looks good so far....BUT you need to post descriptions of your movies (like the tripper) even if the sites that are 5 star dont do it, thats what puts you over the top! Quality is the key, check this post out: http://katz.cd/download/1331339/App/Kaspersky-Anti-Virus-Internet-Security-7-0-0-125/ (btw not my site, its the first download i found on the front page...if your going to copy, copy well...). also make an upload team (im working on that now) that would upload unique downloads then make txt files in your releases and put your url's in there. that will get you more "community" because on this site most of what i see was leeched from a very popular site...

I'll explain why this is bad tho. A live link to a product website creates a referrer when a member clicks that link. That 'referrer' is logged on the products site. This typically isn't a bad thing if only a couple of people click the link.

However, lets say 70 people, or 1,000 people click that link, and your site is recorded as the referrer. The company can then easily look at the logs, look at the referred link (which will take you directly to the clicky link) and show them just what your site is about. Not only showing them you have a warez site, but showing them you're offering their product for download.

Then they can take various actions against you, and your site.

Making people copy and paste a link into their browser when you use the code feature creates an individual referrer link, and thus much harder to track just where its coming from.

So before you start calling people idiots, or swearing at them which i've caught you doing several times.. you might want to have a clue as to what your talking about before you actually type it out.

it doesnt acctually backlink and its coded if that helps... and almost every site has a live product link...
