Katz Blacklist : An Inside Look ;)

We all know what does Katz Blacklist do; ban the sites which don't follow the rules of Katz Downloads. Though I don't know how many sites have been banned by Katz Downloads but the Katz Blacklist is 130 pages long. :P

Some common reasons getting banned by Katz Downloads are excessive advertisement, full screen popups , poor quality site, providing demo downloads, free hosting, free domain, fake download links, etc.

Now a days the rate of blacklisting sites have increased. Blgospot, iblog and free domain name are easily available and the download links !!! can easily be leeched from any famous warez forum. :P Same leeched download links, poor quality look, forced registration and excessive advertisement makes a warez site a poor 3rd grade horror film. And Katz just include the sites on the blacklist within no time. And the sites also dies within no time for lack of time.

Though Katz Download lost one third of its traffic due to change in domain extension but Katz Download still is the best site which sends traffic to the warez sites. It has been found that a warez site gets 50-60% of total traffic only from katz. So beware of getting your site blacklisted.

Yes there is removal process from the blacklist if you rectify the cause of ban. It happens because Katz staff gets too many emails and they need some time to review each site. It would be better if there is a particular section in Katz Forum for discussing and the removal of sites from Katz Blacklist.

I request to the webmasters who want to start their own warez sites please review some reasons of getting ban by Katz Downloads on the Blacklist page.

I am not a different one from you. My sites also got blacklisted in my earlier days.:'( Even one of my sites have been banned 2 days ago blacklisted on an unusual reason. Though I am not permitted to discuss that. But I will discuss my experience with Katz Blacklist in my coming replies.

I have recently found that some sites are offering quite good amount of payout for publishing their banners. Some are offering 1.5 euro per cpm (per thousand unique impression) for their 468*60 small banner. Most of the webmasters are attracted to their publishing program and join them.

The banner is acceptable by Katz Downloads but the banner is linked with some full screen popup advertisement and the webmasters publishing their ads are not aware of this. Full screen popups are not acceptable by Katz. So if you use this kind of advertisement your site will get banned by katz downloads.

Most of the webmaster use this site or similar traffic sharing sites. But these sites use popunder method for sending traffic. Also don't use this kind of sites for sharing traffic. It will also cause you ban from Katz Downloads.

my sites now on the whitelist, im very happy! also, i havent been getting any hits from katz(because i didnt submit yet lol, i know when i will start getting them) but i have been getting a lot of signups lately, about 3 per day which is good for the size of my site, im very satisfied :)
