Hi,

I'm really looking forward to playing this game but I'm a little stuck! What do I do once I have extracted the files? I have Power ISO if that makes a difference?

After you extract, you should have an iso. You need to mount the iso by right clicking on the the power iso icon which should appear at the bottom right hand corner of the screen in your tool bar. Just right click, then choose mount, then select the iso that you want to mount. The game should then auto run. If it dosen`t, click on the start icon (bottom left hand corner of your screen ;-)) then choose computer, then when all you drives showing, double click the one with the disc image mounted, and the auto run should begin. If not, right click on the drive that the iso is mounted in, and when the menu pops up, select explore, then double click on setup when the disc files appear to manually begin installation. I don`t use Power iso, I prefer to use magic disc as its free and good. If you want to try it for any reason, you can d/l it from here

Also, before you install your game, you should check the disc for the crack which you will need to copy and paste into your aoe 3 game directory (over the aoe 3 installed executable), after you have installed the game. Double click on the disc image, then drag and drop the crack folder onto your desktop. Well, Good luck with everything.

When I mounted the ISO into my drive, when I click it all that shows up is a .mdf file. It wont let me explore anything.

Yeah I seem to be getting the same as "Ryan250", all i get is a .mdf file and have absolutly no clue what to do with it!?

help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I answered this on the previous page. What you have, is a disc image. .mdf, .nrg .bin .iso, etc, etc, they`re all the same thing. Perhaps I should have made that point more clearly. They are all virtual disc images created with various different virtual disc creation programs. But they all need to be run in the same way, they need to be mounted with a virtual drive program. You said that you had power iso, and I explained how to mount the image using that program on the previous page. Power iso, Magic disc, Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120%, and a few others, are all virtual disc programs that allow you to create disc images from cd`d and Dvd`s, and mount and run (or indeed burn to cd or dvd) all the various disc image types that I mentioned above. I hope that this, together with the information I gave on the previous page helps a bit. Good luck!

You have to copy and paste the link into the address window in your browser. You know, where you see the katsforums.com address at the top of your browser. Then hit enter. To copy and paste you need to first highlight the rapidshare address. Put your mouse pointer over the start of the address, then whilst holding the left mouse button down, move the mouse to the end to the address, and then let go of the left mouse button. The link should now be highlighted. Right click your mouse, then select copy. Then in the address window, click the right mouse and select paste, then hit enter. When you get to rapidshare, click free, because your a free user, then select download. During day`s when rs is busy, you`ll probably have to enter a code. Input the code where it tells you, then press enter. I made an assumption that you haven`t got a clue what you`re doing, so forgive me if you think that I`ve talked down to you.
