Are you the only user on your computer, and/or wondering, "What the heck is with the Shared Documents folder?". In this guide, you will learn how to delete it.
First off, you click Start, Run, and then in the box type regedit. Press OK.
In the Registry Editor, navigate to key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\My Computer\NameSpace\DelegateFolders
Under that you will see a subkey called "{59031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5-5595fe6b30ee}". It is the first one on my computer and the only one that starts with a "5".
Right click and delete the key. The shared documents folder should be gone.
