Most of the people already know about "PHISHING" and how to be safe from it. Yet there are some people who claim that they took every preventive measure and even then got hacked/lost their passwords. So how can it actually happen??
So lets look at the big bad world of CRACKING and how there are other methods except phishing to get your details!

This thing is available for like what- just 25$ on internet!! I have censored the name of software for security reasons!! This post is to make people aware about the security threats and how they should be aware of the latest exploits so that they can take precautions against them!!

Mate! Sorry but just Google and one find almost everything even this totaly for free! :D
If ya use one of the urls this proggy is avalible from even that download sites own AV screams for it. Kaspersky: " Trojan-PSW.Win32.Agent.lta ". Actually all the big AV company detects this specific malicious code so personal I dont trust the info that no AV is able to detect it but thats just me.
This ofcourse dosen't mean this prog dosen't work but I personal wouldn't play with it from those sources free or not and it also dosen't mean threats are not around because yes they are...so be careful boys and girls and be ready because sooner or later we all get's screwed. <3 =) :))

Well I have actually took this post from other forum which had a whole lot discussion about it. Some people mentioned that it is available for free but many people mentioned that the free and cracked versions dont work whereas those who brought the thing were pretty happy with the results!!
Hacking others accunts and selling them is a full fletched business in some forums!!

Thanx man ,that was really helpful ,could you also recommend which av to use ,also which firewall and other important soft wares to keep us safe
I think the majority of phished accounts are from users who don't know about phishing and log in to RS via links.
I have seen some phishing tutorials around but never took much interest in them so i can't say how they worked but in my view the easiest way to prevent phishing from link is to log in to your account through the hosts main page and not through the link.
There are undoubably nasties out there that infect computers with the goal of gaining account info but in general it would be for all types of accounts and not aimed just at file hosts so if someone says they were phished by something they downloaded then chances are more than their RS pass was taken.

I personally use Avast FREE edition and no firewall!! I believe that no AV can protect you 100% ass there are new threats all the time. Its the knowledge that protects you. I have been using INTERNET since many years now. At 1st even I got few virus but with time you learn that which links you should click, which websites to visit and which files to DL!
Whenever DL a post you should look if the Uploader is ADMIN/ Trusted uploader etc. Be suspicious when an uploader just have 5-10 posts. And always look for the comments if they are there!
For ultra protection you can download "sandboxie" !!
All AVs are playing catch up so at sometime any virus/trojan will be undected.

100% agreed. But as I wrote in the 2nd line this post is for those who say that they took every precaution and yet lost their passwords!

thats the most simplest and effective way. Even I follow that :)

AS I mentioned at other forums Msn ID/ amazon ID/ CC no. / RS details/ Bank details/ paypal id etc everything is sold!!
Sadly its all prevalent and innocent persons are the victims!

youre not dumb but that is trusted advice i always log on throgh my own links ive had a rs account for about a year and have never been phished banned a few whos tryed

On short, what eyesonyouu is trying to say in this thread like in another 100 anti-phising threads witch no one thinks they should read until they get scammed, is always clean you're browser history, don't let you're browser memorize you're passes, keep you're passwords in you're HEAD not in text documets on you're computer, or if you got such a weak mind, then save them on you're PC and encrypt them with an encryption program, that should greately increase you're security in you're computer withowt the need of special software like AVs and anti-spyware. (not saying you don't need AVs, i'm trying to say they don't protect you against phising sites)
And everytime you go on a site and small boxes pop up to fillin you're information DON'T!!! and as for how it goes for other sites witch you are unsure if they are safe, just come on katz post them, and in a few minutes/hours you'll get you're answer.
Don't go mindless ahead and fill in all you're personal data to any sites you visit...

Funny. When I come across stealers I reverse them and steal all of their files then emptien the ftp.
These are INCREDIBLY easy to avoid.
