New Computer--> REQUESTING HELP

hello,
i just finished building my first computer! when i boot it just says no input, all the cables are connected and everythings running. here my parts:

recom backdraft case
pentium 4 extreme edition 3.2 ghz
titan vanessa s-type cpu cooler
power lc 420 watt psu
HIS radeon x1600 pro ice-q graphiccard
dfi lanparty x925-t2 mainboard
samsung writemaster dvd-rw
western digital 250 gb
wintv tv-card
sounblaster live soundcard
1gb kingston ram
fujisu 22" widescreen

no input im guessing thats the screen. so their are 3 things to look at the screen power and data cables. and the graphics card. check cbles first. since its saying no input its got power. so chage the screen witnanother one and try a diffrent data cable if its not them its the graphics card.

no i figurd out the problem, wrong cpu, not compatible with mainboard chipset. thanks for the help though.

ok now ive got another problem!

i cant install windows xp pro sp1!! slax linux works(live cd)
it boots from the cd, the installation starts. then after about fifteen seconds the screen goes fuzzy.
what couldbe causing it??
