Need information about ranking

i made near about 259 post still but still have no upgreadation to my rank.i wanna know about the ranking system & also want to know how to give reputation.

I am sorry for the inconvenience but the upgrade happens by itself I too wondered why wasnt i upgrading but the next day I had a new rank so give it some time and look you are already a active member so nothing left to say :)

I believe that it was 100 for active.
And 500 for respected or advance.

You do not get to be Respected Member due to post counts, it is decided by the admins.

This was an oversight on my end.

users with 0-24 posts = general registered user.
users with 25-99 posts = general registers user with shoutbox capabilities.
users with 100+ posts = active user, with new color and title.

When i changed things for the shoutbox i forgot to add the promotion type for anyone with more than 100 posts in the shoutbox group to be promosted to active user... this has now been fixed.

Users who reach 25+ posts should now properly move to the shoutbox group (this can take an hour or more in some cases), and anyone in the shoutbox group who advances to more than 100+ posts will be moved to the advanced group automatically - same time-frame applies.

There was a thread about 3 months ago, it showed the ranks as previously mentioned. I am just going by that.
It has changed now, but I had not realised.

And no, you do not earn the respected tag with posts.
