I downloaded Tiny XP Platinum from here and had to add different numbers onto the end of each iso file (there are 7 of them) so that I could have them all together visible in one view (otherwise I kept getting the message did I want to REPLACE the existing file with this one). Since they were all the same name, I added a different number to the end of each one
EXP:
TinyXP Platinum_2 (all 7 files had this exact same title)
So I renamed them:
TinyXP Platinum_2_1
TinyXP PLatinum_2_2
TinyXP Platinum_2_3
etc etc etc.

Now I have all 7 of them renamed and tried to join them with HJSplit, but couldnt because I got the error message "Invalid Floating Operation".
I tried using GSplit but it wouldnt join them either because it said these files WEREN'T created by GSplit. So again, I cant join them all together. I also tried 4th Split. No luck.
How can I join all these (7) operating system files????
WhEW.........................................lol
Thank you to anyone in advance for helping..now I have to go pull some hair out.

you cant join iso files, if they are in rar format they should extract to a folder and be one iso file

I have 7 ISO files. I used Win RAR to extract them with. I had to extract them into seperate folders otherwise I kept getting that messge " Replace existing so and so with this one". I got around that by adding a numerical number to the end of each iso file so I wouldnt have to have it replaced/deleted. And something else I noticed: The poster said the OS was suposed to be 635 MB. All 7of these iso files are exactly 699 MB. I am so lost. Then how am I to join all 7 of these iso files in order to get a cd with this operating system since I cant join an iso file??
6 of the files zipped = 199 MB The 7th one is like 60 MB or something. Yet even when I extract with WinRAR or IZArc, each an every file unzipped = 699 MB.
Here is what each file say when its zipped:TinyXP.PE2.ISO_www.softarchive.net.part1
TinyXP.PE2.ISO_www.softarchive.net.part2
the first 6 are each (99 MB when zipped, but 699 MB when unzipped)
Even the last one is 699 MB when unzipped, yet when zipped it is only about 60 MB.

mate have you tried to bring up the image with nero and see what size it says to burn to the cd

with .rar or .zip format, they are compressed which means that they will come up with a either a folder, one file, or several files. what you downloaded is an ISO image which will be something like "TinyXP Platinum.iso" you only need to extract one file not each of them. If you want to test it, just move one of the downloaded files into a different directory and extract it, it will ask for the file. that will let you know a little more about how it works. what you want to do with the .ISO file is to mount it using Daemon tools, or burn it to a cd using Nero like Gismo said, or another program like Alcohol or so many others but these are the most common. if you need further help PM me, or send me an email: kerry_john@msn.com
