hello again,

I thought I used to see a button, link or thread for financial contributions here, but cannot find anything like it now that I'm able to do so.
I tried the "how to become VIP" thread but there was nothing there (not sure what that's about either.)
I would really like to help keep this site - and katz.ws - running. Please let me know how.

We do not at the moment have any such feature where users can provide financial assistance to the Katz Group.

I think it would instead be wiser to support an NPO (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-profit_organization), some of which are:
Mozilla Foundation (http://www.mozilla.org/foundation/donate.html)
Wikipedia Foundation (http://wikimediafoundation.org/)
Cancer Research UK (http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/donate/)
Spybot - Search & Destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/donate/)
VideoLAN Project (http://www.videolan.org/contribute.html)If members've got any other NPOs they'd like to recommend, please do so by replying to this thread.
(Note: It is you, the reader's responsibility to verify the authenticity of the links in this thread.)

My preliminary thoughts are - it might be a good idea to set up a donations system on the Katz Forums, where donors get their "donor" status, but the amount goes wholly to an NPO of their choosing from a pre-selected list of NPOs. I shall ponder further on the matter.

Thanks for bringing it up, Cyg, and thank you for using Katz Downloads. (y)

Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.

In regards to monetary support directly to the Katz Group, clicking any of the banners on the site [1] (http://katz.ws/) [2] (http://katz.cx/) most definitely helps. :)

Thanks, though I don't quite see the connection - how does supporting npo's support katz?
I have and do contribute to npo's I've found very useful (which definitely does NOT include Mozilla) though none from your list. I should support VideoLAN though, to be sure.
I wish you hadn't given the link to your porn page - internet porn is always, in my experience, just plain UGLY!
I'll certainly have to get used to the idea of clicking ads, since I've NEVER done so before (on purpose) and never so much as look at one that forces itself upon me - all closed before I ever even see them - can't believe not everyone does likewise - how do they make money by irritating people.
I'm very sorry I cannot support this site directly, since your katz.ws has been my most frequented page by far and the most useful.
Fortunately you're not alone and I can contribute to a number of other sites soon (tax refund, woo hoo) as well as finally get a nice (moderately) big HDTV to watch all the movies I've gotten through this site and others.
Thanks again for everything.

Supporting NPOs doesn't support the Katz Group, of course, but it does help a better cause.

Clicking banners is free and users don't have to part with their hard earned cash.

If you'd really really like to monetarily support the Katz Group, this can also be done. Holla back.

In regards to Katz Porn, I'd like to prove you otherwise, seeing to how many hits it receives. Check this (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5430343841227974645) out. :D
