The Lost Land of Lemuria: Fabulous Geographies, Catastrophic Histories by Sumathi Ramaswamy

During the nineteenth century, Lemuria was imagined as a land that once bridged India and Africa but disappeared into the ocean millennia ago, much like Atlantis. A sustained meditation on a lost place from a lost time, this elegantly written book is the first to explore Lemuria's incarnations across cultures, from Victorian-era science to Euro-American occultism to colonial and postcolonial India. The Lost Land of Lemuria widens into a provocative exploration of the poetics and politics of loss to consider how this sentiment manifests itself in a fascination with vanished homelands, hidden civilizations, and forgotten peoples. More than a consideration of nostalgia, it shows how ideas once entertained but later discarded in the metropole can travel to the periphery--and can be appropriated by those seeking to construct a meaningful world within the disenchantment of modernity. Sumathi Ramaswamy ultimately reveals how loss itself has become a condition of modernity, compelling us to rethink the politics of imagination and creativity in our day.

The Quest for the Ark of the Covenant: The True History of the Tablets of Moses by Stuart Munro-Hay

In a chapel in the old crenellated church of Mary of Zion in Aksum, Ethiopia, is kept an object that emperors, patriarchs and priests have assured the world is the most important religious relic of all time: the Tabota Seyon, Ark of the Covenant, the Ark of Zion. This Ark is alleged to be no less than the Ark that Moses had constructed at Sinai and which destroyed the walls of Jericho. It was brought into Jerusalem by King David and installed in a magnificent temple by King Solomon. Then, the story goes, it came to Ethiopia of its own choice with the half-Ethiopian, half-Jewish son of Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. Are the legends true?

From ancient texts to local stories, from the Bible to the writings of sixteenth and seventeenth-century Jesuits, Munro-Hay traces the extraordinary legend of Ethiopia's Ark in what is a triumph of historical detective work. He scrutinises every mention of the Ark in Ethiopian records and tests every theory before reaching his
shocking conclusion.

The Knights Templar: The History and Myths of the Legendary Military Order by Sean Martin

This book is an essential exploration into the history of a legendary group of Crusaders, which are prominently featured in Dan Brown's recent best seller, The Da Vinci Code. The Knights Templar rose from humble beginnings to become the most powerful military religious order of the Middle Ages. Formed to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land, they participated in the Crusades and rapidly gained wealth, lands, and influence. Seemingly untouchable for nearly two centuries, they fell from grace spectacularly after the loss of the Holy Land. In the ensuing centuries the Templars have exerted a unique influence over European history; orthodox historians see them as nothing more than soldier-monks whose arrogance was their ultimate undoing, while others see them as occultists of the first order. With clarity and ease, Martin navigates between the orthodox and the speculative, the historical and the myth, to bring alive the story of the Templars. Like those other legends of the Middle Ages—the characters of the Arthurian tales—The Knights Templar holds captive the imagination of all those intrigued by conspiracy and how history and myth intertwine to become the stuff of legend.

Anonymous - Some Philosophy of the Hermetics (1898)

The Greek name "Hermes" is taken from an ancient root, "herm," meaning the activating, radiant and vital principle of life, known to ancient masonry as cosmic fire, Chiram and later as Hiram Abiff. The essays found in this little book vary in style. Some of them fall into a weird rhapsody, while others are laconic and plain. The mystic will understand the reason for the difference, while another will only read the words.

Joscelyn Godwin - Mystery of the Seven Vowels: In Theory and Practice(1991)

The seven vowels which we use every day in speech depend on the phenomenon of harmonics which is at the very basis of music. When we hear vowels we are hearing the laws of harmony which are ultimately the laws of number that are said to govern the universe.

The Mystery of the Seven Vowels is the first book on the subject ever to appear in English, and it is unusual in bringing together a number of fields not usually connected: linguistics, harmony, musicology, mythology, the history of religions, esoteric and occult philosophy, vocal exercises and meditational practices. The author discusses systems relating the vowels to planets, tones and colours; he writes of ancient and modern vowel-songs, the names of the gods and the use of vowels in Gnosticism and ancient magic. The treatment is scholarly, but the book is also practical, giving a number of different paths for discovering one's own tones through the vowels and exploring their power to centre, to uplift and to heal.

There is also an esoteric tradition that links the vowels to the seven planets of astrology and the gods that rule them. The mythological background includes such topics as the vowel-names of IAO, IAHWE, and other gods; the invocations of planets used in Egyptian temples and in Greek magical incantations; the power of wordless song to illuminate and heal, and even--if the reports of occultists are true--to aid the soul after it has left the body.

107 pages, 4.46 MB, PDF. Scan.

Book requested by darlog. This is very rare and hard to get so if you can share it, by all means do.

Pandora's Box 2 II - The Denver International Airport Story by Alex Christopher

This book is dedicated to the memory of Phil Shneider, who in the year of 1995, found out that the government was planning on putting American citizens into deep underground concentration camps that have been being built in the form of deep underground bases for many years. Phil left his job of many years in the construction of these underground bases for the government and started spreading the word to people around the world. He was killed in Jan. 1996.

The Table of Contents should pretty well serve as a summary of this book. The Denver International Airport, The May 1995 lecture by Phil Shneider, The Genesis and History of the Cosmic Conflict, The Descendants of Mu and Atlantis, British Israel : Steps Toward A British Union and a World State, What is Fasces and Fascism, Masonic Enslavement, Did AT&T Have a Baby Devil ?, Ancient Mysteries, Central Banking & The Money System, Inside the Shadow CIA, Tunnel Boring Patent, High Velocity Aircraft Patent, FEMA 41-10, Biological Diversity, The Hollow Earth, Denver Airport Mural Study, Land Dealing, Denver International Airport Capstone (Masonic Compass and Square), Underground Tour of DIA, Private Conversation With Phil Shneider, Contact With A Being From Andromeda (Well, we might as well hear what he or she has to say). There is some very Extremely Important Information in this book. Color photos of Denver Airport Wall Murals, including of a Nazi Stormtrooper and another of a letter written from a child who died in a concentration camp. This does not seem right. Nazis in the CIA & look what happens.

Mind Control, World Control: The Encyclopedia of Mind Control by Jim Keith

Mind control is a little-known yet highly controversial topic today.

Veteran author and investigator Jim Keith uncovers a surprising amount of information on mind control technology, and the experimentation with and implementation of it.

Various chapters in this shocking book cover early CIA experiments such as Project MONARCH and R.H.I.C.-EDOM, the methodology and technology of implants, mind-controlled assassins and couriers, various famous mind control victims such as Sirhan Sirhan, Patty Hearst and Candy Jones. Also featured are chapters on Mind Control Cults, Berserkers, Death Rays, HAARP, and how mind control technology may be linked to some UFO activity and "UFO abductions."

Thought Forms by Annie Wood Besant and Charles Webster Leadbeater

It is the authors' hope - as is their belief - that this little book will serve as a striking moral lesson to every reader, making him realize the nature and power of his thoughts, acting as a stimulus to the noble, a curb on the base. To paint in earth's dull colors the forms clothed in the living light of other worlds is a hard and thankless task; so much the more gratitude is due to those who have attempted it. They needed colored fire, and had only ground earths.

The Templar Code for Dummies

The Templar Code for Dummies reveals the meaning behind the cryptic codes and secret rituals of the medieval brotherhood of warrior monks known as the Knights Templar. This intriguing guide will cover such topics as who the Knights Templar were, how they rose so high and fell so far, and most importantly why there is so much interest in them today. The Templar Code For Dummies will explore myths and theories of Christian history that appear in the Da Vinci Code such as the quest for the Holy Grail, the Catholic Church's relationship with women that are hotly debated now with special emphasis on the Templar connection. It also explores the surprising part the Templars have played in some of the most important historic events of these past seven centuries, including the French Revolution, the birth of groups such as the Freemasons, and even the American Civil War.

The Kabala of Numbers

There is a system of interpretation in numerology which is supported by experience, but has its origin beyond the realm of the phenomenal worlds. If no such system existed, it would be impossible to prove the geometrical relations of thought. But this is done daily by those who make use of numbers for purposes of divination. -from "Chapter II: Geometrical Relations of Thought" Originally published in two volumes in 1913, this classic of the art of numerology builds upon the work of the ancient Greeks, Aryans, and Egyptians to describe the dramatic effect that numbers exert upon the world all around us. Part I introduces numerological theories and practices, including how to read others' thoughts through numbers, predict and influence success and failure, and understand "chance" events. Part II explores the geometry of nature and how it affects us, numbers that sway human will, and much more. For practitioners of the paranormal arts and those interested in the history of science and pseudoscience, this is a fascinating and essential book. "Sepharial" was the pseudonym of British mystic WALTER GORN-OLD (1864-1929), one of the most prolific writers on and teachers of astrology in modern times. Among his many works are Astrology Explained, Cosmic Symbolism, Science of Foreknowledge, and The Silver Key.

More Coast to Coast 3

The Coast to Coast radio show with Art Bell and George Noorey is something of a legend in the US. Covering topics ranging from conspiracies to alien abductions to ghosts and big foot, the show has a massive following and a legendary status. Over the many years it has been online it has many strange things happen, among them this strange caller who called in on a show dedicated to Area 51.

The Afterlife & Contact w/the Dead

Author Craig Hogan shared his research into contact with the dead, and the powers of the mind. The human mind exists independently of the brain, he argued, citing remote viewing ability as an example of how the mind can see at a great distance. During the dream state, it's the mind that's active, not the brain, he added.

The afterlife is made up of millions of spheres and planes, with realms similar to Earth-- someone entering the afterlife would typically assume the body of when they were between 20 to 30, he said. Eventually, people evolve onto higher planes and become celestial beings, Hogan noted. Some spirits though, remain earthbound and can seek to negatively influence the living's behavior so they can live vicariously through them, he explained.

A number of methods have yielded communications with the deceased, including EVP and induced after-death communication (IADC), he reported. IADC involves an eye movement induction technique discovered by Dr. Allan Botkin. Hogan also suggested there is no hell that, and the devil are a myth created by the church, he said.

Intention Healing, NDEs & Open Lines

In the first hour, Adam the DreamHealer talked about the healing power of intention. According to Adam, not only does an individual's intentions effect his or her own immune system, but some studies suggest that the intentions of people who surround an individual also effect that person's health.

"Our intentions effect things far beyond our conscious awareness," Adam further explained, noting an experience from his own life when he had put out an intention to do his Ph.D work at a certain lab and received an unsolicited email from that lab the next morning. Adam also spoke about his work with Edgar Mitchell, who he helped heal from kidney cancer.

During the second hour, George was joined by hypnotherapist Dr. Bruce Goldberg, who discussed near-death experiences (NDEs) and commented on a new consciousness study called AWARE (AWAreness during REsuscitation - read more at MSNBC). Goldberg said that any purely medical explanations of consciousness "don't hold water."

Several documented cases have shown a correlation between the time a person has an NDE and the resuscitation process, he noted. In one case, a woman who was blind for more than 50 years was able to accurately recall the specific colors of the equipment used to bring her back from death. Goldberg also summarized the core experiences of NDEs and detailed the progress of the soul/consciousness after someone dies (and does not come back).

The remainder the program featured Open Lines.

The Science of Reincarnation

Interdisciplinary cosmologist Paul Von Ward discussed his research into reincarnation and its effects on the human personality. Building on the reincarnation studies of Ian Stevenson and Jim Tucker, he synthesized sources from science, religion, hypnosis, and dream therapy to develop his approach. From our past lives, we inherit a legacy-- a "genotype" that informs our personality, knowledge and skills, and predisposes us in specific directions, he said.

The reincarnation process is essential for the conscious evolution of a species, as all living organisms move forward into their next lives, Von Ward suggested. He noted that people tend to look like their previous incarnations. This is borne out in photographs he's examined, which show similarities between a person and their purported previous identity. They often have the same general body type, ear forms, hair patterns and hand size proportions, he detailed.

Von Ward theorized that the 'psychoplasm', embedded in the bio-field, is the medium or mechanism in which traits are passed into subsequent lives. His Reincarnation Experiment, which people can participate in, offers past life clues for getting in touch with previous existences, including working with psychics, hypnotic regression, and dreams.

Mysteries of the Giza Plateau

Engineer & Egyptologist Robert Bauval discussed his research into the alignment of the Giza pyramids, and his theories about the Sphinx. Studying aerial photos of the Giza Plateau he saw that the three pyramids were lined up on a diagonal, with the smallest one offset to the left. An Egyptian dynasty text referred to a King that wanted to travel to the star Sirius. Bauval later connected the stars in Orion's belt (near Sirius) to the positioning of the three pyramids.

His further research showed that shafts inside the Great Pyramid's chambers were pointed at stars in Orion, coinciding with where they would have been in the sky around 10,500 BC, suggesting the structures at Giza are much older than most Egyptologists believe. Interestingly, 10,500 BC was also the date Edgar Cayce mentioned that a Hall of Records was buried inside the Sphinx. These records may reveal a message or artifact that shows civilization is far older than previously thought, and we are now what we think we are, Bauval suggested.

Most recently, he's been investigating part of the Sahara that had a large ancient civilization back when the area was fertile. In his visits to the little-known area, he saw "mini-Stonehenges" and huge lost sculptures.

Life in the Year 2013

Ian spoke with Marie D. Jones about what we can expect in 2012 and what it may be like in the year 2013. Jones went through some of the common worst case scenarios (asteroid impact, pole shift, supervolcano eruption) for December 21, 2012, and Ian invited callers to phone in with their theories about what will happen on that date. Jones said she does not think any naturally-occuring, world-ending event will take place in 2012. For Jones, the worst case scenario will be human driven, possibly a nuclear war. Jones and Ian also talked about the discrepancy between the Mayan calendar and the Gregorian calendar.

Jones envisioned what life may be like in the year 2013. She expressed concern about the continued acceleration of technology and how it could interfere with our ability to connect with each other. She also discussed the threat of global climate change and the role of traditional western religions in the future. According to Jones, there will be an increasing resistance toward religion as we approach 2013. People will embrace spirituality, not religion, she said. Jones expects a transformation of consciousness on a global scale by 2013, and hopes this will awaken people to their full potential as human beings.

@darlog,

Unable to fulfill your request regarding The Cosmic Conflict. However, if you google the title plus the author, you will find many web pages with parts of the book put up on the sites. That is the best I can do.

Pandora's Box 2 I have posted.

Order of the Cubic Stone - The Monolith Journal

A group in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn tradition, founded in Britain in the 1930s by Theodore Howard and two technicians, David Edwards and Robert Turner. The Order believes in a system of Enochian magic and trains students in ceremonial magic.

Gareth Knight - Magical Images

The knowledge and use of magical images as a means of self development was once a closely guarded secret of initiates and adepts in the Mystery Schools. In this ground breaking new book, Gareth Knight gives easy-to-follow classifications of the various kinds of magical images, along with instructions for their use as agents of self realization and spiritual growth. Indispensable for beginners and advanced practitioners alike, this book presents the theory and techniques of creative visualization and meditation. These practical teachings range from the circulation of force within the aura for the purpose of balancing the personality, to the development of a full magical system of "pathworking" enabling contact with unsuspected sources of inner wisdom and power.

Jean Dubuis - The Fundamentals of Esoteric Knowledge

Mr. Dubuis is a respected 20th Century Alchemist, and author of courses and articles on Alchemy, Qabala & Esotericism.

Once in a lifetime there comes along a course, or book, like Jean Dubuis' "Fundamentals of Esoteric Knowledge". Written over 20 years ago, in French, for the alchemical organization "Les Philosophiers des Nature", it has become a standard by which many other esoteric courses of instruction should be judged. Designed to fill in some of the knowledge gaps Dubuis was perceiving in some of the organizations members, "Fundamentals" was written as a very concise, dense, and eminently practical set of lessons on the core ideas and practices of Western Esotericism.

All areas of significance are covered: basic cosmology, creating interior harmony, the power of "the Word', symbolism, qabalistic invocations, uses of rituals, the relationship of magic, alchemy, qabala, and astrology to one another, and the Seven Rules of the "Invisible College" or the Rosicrucian Brotherhood.

While this may appear to have been 'done before', what makes this book different is that each paragraph is packed with information. There is no wasted language in Dubuis' explanation of things. His scientific and highly analytical mind allows the information to be presented in an amazing clarity free of the usual 'occult speak' and mumbo jumbo that often leaves the reader feeling either dissatisfied or simply bored. The use of Hebrew and alchemical terms is almost non-existent giving this very old material a very fresh perspective.

In addition, unlike many courses of instruction that are just the 'Golden Dawn' revisited, this material has a distinct flavor and feel of an earlier period. Several students of the course, who have had a great deal of experience in other systems, have commented on the overwhelming simplicity and effectiveness of the exercises in "Fundamentals of Esoteric Knowledge". It is one of those rare works that really is ideal for beginners or advanced students alike.

The only drawback to "Fundamentals of Esoteric Knowledge", if there is one, is that it is so very full. It is the kind of text that one refers to again and again, replacing so many of the other texts you've grown familiar with. Also, despite its format of twelve lessons, there is no way the material it contains can be performed in a single year. The short section on zodiacal meditations takes a year itself.

If you are looking for a fine guide to assist in your work, regardless of whether you want to practice alchemy, qabala, or astrology, I can suggest nothing better than "Fundamentals of Esoteric Knowledge". It supplies a foundation that will carry you through several lifetimes.

161 pages, 10.2 MB, PDF. Scan. A MUST!!!
