Ok, I would like to extend my house by adding at least two bedrooms upstairs. The house is two storeys in part but there is a long portion of the house (hallway, kitchen and dining room that is really just single storey and has a lot of potential. I want to make it all two storeys if you get my drift. It's a stone house and so would have to be extended in stone. Anyone help me out? Thank you all in advance for any help.

you can extend it in any material lighter than your base lol. But for Aesthetical purposes i'd advise extending your house with the EXACT same material (if you can find that around there are even retailers that sell materials at different level of weathering so that your extension would not appear all new while the rest of the house appeared old)
I assume you KNOW how to extend (technically speaking) your house lol
