Dale Carnegie - How To Win Friends and Influence People
Financial success, as Carnegie believed, is due 15 percent to professional knowledge and 85 percent to “the ability to express ideas, to assume leadership, and to arouse enthusiasm among people.” He teaches these skills through underlying principles of dealing with people so that they feel important and appreciated. He also emphasizes fundamental techniques for handling people without making them feel manipulated. Carnegie says you can make someone want to do what you want them to by seeing the situation from the other person’s point of view and “arousing in the other person an eager want.” You learn how to make people like you, win people over to your way of thinking, and change people without causing offense or arousing resentment. For instance, “let the other person feel that the idea is his or hers,” and “talk about your own mistakes before criticizing the other person.” Carnegie illustrates his points with anecdotes of historical figures, leaders of the business world, and everyday folks. http://rapidshare.com/files/86413592...ends.part1.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/86418562...ends.part2.rar |

Joseph Campbell - The Grail Legend
Those already familiar with Joseph Campbell will know he was the foremost authority on the psychological reading of Mythology in the twentieth century. Most famous perhaps (the power of television!) for an American PBS series with Bill Moyers, though in my opinion, tapes of his regular lectures are really the best introduction. This is a MP3 rip of a tape series (hence the A and B sides for those who remember them) of a lecture on the Grail Legend. King Arthur’s round table of equal Knights, going out to seek the Holy Grail is literally the stuff of Myth. Just remember, those setting out on their life’s quest might do worse than remember the Knights of the Round Table, who on setting out, thought that it would be ignoble to travel in a group, each took their own turning into the forest “where he saw the forest was the thickest and there was no way or path….” http://rapidshare.com/files/70344720...2_Tape_1-A.mp3 http://rapidshare.com/files/70345931...2_Tape_1-B.mp3 http://rapidshare.com/files/70347221...2_Tape_2-A.mp3 http://rapidshare.com/files/70348257...2_Tape_2-B.mp3 http://rapidshare.com/files/70349496...2_Tape_3-A.mp3 http://rapidshare.com/files/70340219...2_Tape_3-B.mp3 |

The Third Ear is a completely new way of thinking and learning. It helps you speak any new language easily and quickly.
We have discovered that one of the keys to success with language learning is to reconnect with your own language learning intuition. Everyone is born with the ability to learn a language - we all do so at least once with our native language. When you are learning another language, the ability to tap into the natural learning process can make things so much easier. So how did the Third Ear approach come about? In many ways it was a "lucky accident". Many years ago now I traveled to China and began an incredible journey - a journey into a new language, a new culture, and a new way of thinking. I had learned psychology at university, which gave me hints about how I could make my learning more effective. I had some experience of being immersed in a new language environment from a teenage trip to the tropical island of Tahiti. And, I still retained a childlike fascination with my own learning process. This combination of factors, and being dumped into the middle of China just as it opened to the outside world, provided a wonderful laboratory for me. I got to try out different things, and quickly discovered what worked and what didn't. I learned about the attitude needed to learn a new language, and how to remember new words. I learned tricks for practicing pronunciation, and tricks for getting others to help you. All of this experience is organized in an easy-to-access way for you in The Third Ear. You will discover that there are simple ways to practice key parts of ANY language. You will learn how to "tune" your brain, ears and mouth to do what is needed. You will learn tricks for making your memory work for you. Most importantly, you will learn to access your natural language ability, whether or not you know it is there. The Third Ear system takes the best lessons of effective language learning from different people, distilled over the last twenty years, and presents them in a fun, fascinating and practical way. These lessons are useful for anyone learning a new language, and are really helpful for so-called "difficult" languages. http://rapidshare.com/files/22365187..._Ear.part1.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/22365188..._Ear.part2.rar Password: www.rapidbyte.org |
