George Orwell - 1984
"Outside, even through the shut window pane, the world looked cold. Down in the street little eddies of wind were whirling dust and torn paper into spirals, and though the sun was shining and the sky a harsh blue, there seemed to be no color in anything except the posters that were plastered everywhere." The year is 1984; the scene is London, largest population center of Airstrip One. Airstrip One is part of the vast political entity Oceania, which is eternally at war with one of two other vast entities, Eurasia and Eastasia. At any moment, depending upon current alignments, all existing records show either that Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia and allied with Eastasia, or that it has always been at war with Eastasia and allied with Eurasia. Winston Smith knows this, because his work at the Ministry of Truth involves the constant "correction" of such records. "'Who controls the past,' ran the Party slogan, 'controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.'" In a grim city and a terrifying country, where Big Brother is always Watching You and the Thought Police can practically read your mind, Winston is a man in grave danger for the simple reason that his memory still functions. He knows the Party's official image of the world is a fluid fiction. He knows the Party controls the people by feeding them lies and narrowing their imaginations through a process of bewilderment and brutalization that alienates each individual from his fellows and deprives him of every liberating human pursuit from reasoned inquiry to sexual passion. Drawn into a forbidden love affair, Winston finds the courage to join a secret revolutionary organization called The Brotherhood, dedicated to the destruction of the Party. Together with his beloved Julia, he hazards his life in a deadly match against the powers that be. Paul McKenna - Stop Smoking (Hypnosis)
"At the time I bought this my smoking was increasing day by day, as I worked in a stressful environment that had what I'd call a smoking culture, cigarette breaks were frequent. I wasn't sure the cd would work when I bought it, but I listened to it a few times, last thing at night in my bed. I found that I always fell asleep whilst listening to it. I didn't think that it had worked as I was still smoking a couple of weeks later, but I found that I wasn't enjoying each cigarette that I had. All of a sudden one day at work, I went for my first cigarette of the working day, I didn't even light up and gave my pack of cigarettes away. I havn't smoked since the 28th of February 2001, and I was going through a bad time then and the last thing I really expected was to give up smoking. It's now 4th of August 2001 and I havn't been tempted once, not even when out drinking with friends. An excellent buy and money well spent". http://rapidshare.com/files/83721508/PM307SMOKE.rar |

Stephen King - Misery
Thrown from the wreckage of his '74 Camaro, Paul Sheldon, author of a bestselling series of historical romances, wakes up one day in a secluded Colorado farmhouse owned by Annie Wilkes, a psychotic ex-nurse who claims she is his number one fan. Immobilized from the pain of two shattered legs and a crushed knee, Sheldon is at Annie's mercy. Unfortunately for Sheldon, Annie is mad; mad that he killed off her favorite character, Misery Chastain, in his latest book; mad that he wants to escape; and of course, mad in the most extreme clinical sense of the word. To set the world straight, Annie buys Sheldon a typewriter and some paper, drugs him, locks him in a room, and forces him to bring Misery back to life in a novel dedicated to her. Fear of physical torture is Sheldon's greatest motivation. One wrong sentence and she is likely to smash his legs with a sledgehammer, cut his thumbs off with a hacksaw, or much, much worse. But writers have weapons too. . .” http://rapidshare.com/files/80883457/skm.part1.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/80883881/skm.part2.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/80886585/skm.part3.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/80882478/skm.part4.rar Password: englishtips.org or http://www.filefactory.com/file/9f9340/ http://www.filefactory.com/file/f90934/ http://www.filefactory.com/file/e7d7dd/ http://www.filefactory.com/file/07f834/ Password: englishtips.org |

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change
This was a groundbreaker when it was first published in 1990, and it continues to be a business bestseller with more than 10 million copies sold. Stephen Covey, an internationally respected leadership authority, realizes that true success encompasses a balance of personal and professional effectiveness, so this book is a manual for performing better in both arenas. His anecdotes are as frequently from family situations as from business challenges. Before you can adopt the seven habits, you'll need to accomplish what Covey calls a "paradigm shift"--a change in perception and interpretation of how the world works. Covey takes you through this change, which affects how you perceive and act regarding productivity, time management, positive thinking, developing your "proactive muscles" (acting with initiative rather than reacting), and much more. This isn't a quick-tips-start-tomorrow kind of book. The concepts are sometimes intricate, and you'll want to study this book, not skim it. When you finish, you'll probably have Post-it notes or hand-written annotations in every chapter, and you'll feel like you've taken a powerful seminar by Covey. Anyone who thinks the audiocassette adaptation of Stephen Covey's bestseller, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, is a shortcut to reading the book has another thing coming. As a preview, the cassette is worth every one of its 90 minutes; as a substitute for the original, it will only leave you wishing for the rest. http://rapidshare.com/files/99427274/ab-sc-7h_1.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/99427614/ab-sc-7h_2.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/99427640/ab-sc-7h_3.rar eBook... http://rapidshare.com/files/25270288...ive.People.pdf |

Allen Carr - The Easy Way to Stop Smoking
Have you ever heard a smoker say it was easy-even enjoyable-to quit smoking? Allen Carr says so in this updated, 20th anniversary edition of his international bestseller! His revolutionary method has helped millions of people around the world to kick the habit for good. Allen Carr’s Easyway method centers on removing the psychological need to smoke—while the smoker is still smoking. Following the Easyway method, You will not need willpower. You will not gain weight. You will not feel deprived. You will need no gimmicks, shocks, or substitutes. You will not suffer serious withdrawal pangs. Carr debunks many of the myths about smoking: smokers enjoy smoking, smokers choose to smoke, smoking is a social habit, smoking relieves boredom and stress, smoking aids concentration and relaxation. He examines the real reasons people start to smoke and why they continue, and explains why attempts to quit with nicotine substitutes, by simply cutting down, or through pure willpower so often fail. He offers a step-by-step approach to stopping, and reveals how to handle withdrawal symptoms and temptation situations. Rather than feel deprived and anxious, apply Allen Carr’s Easyway method, be ready to smoke your last cigarette, and immediately enjoy the freedoms of being a non-smoker. http://rapidshare.com/files/18133951...topSmoking.rar http://depositfiles.com/en/files/byx1mcps8 |

Who Moved My Cheese : An Amazing Way To Deal With Change In Your Work And In Your Life - Spencer Johnson
Change can be a blessing or a curse, depending on your perspective. The message of Who Moved My Cheese? is that all can come to see it as a blessing, if they understand the nature of cheese and the role it plays in their lives. Who Moved My Cheese? is a parable that takes place in a maze. Four beings live in that maze: Sniff and Scurry are mice--nonanalytical and nonjudgmental, they just want cheese and are willing to do whatever it takes to get it. Hem and Haw are "little people," mouse-size humans who have an entirely different relationship with cheese. It's not just sustenance to them; it's their self-image. Their lives and belief systems are built around the cheese they've found. Most of us reading the story will see the cheese as something related to our livelihoods--our jobs, our career paths, the industries we work in--although it can stand for anything, from health to relationships. The point of the story is that we have to be alert to changes in the cheese, and be prepared to go running off in search of new sources of cheese when the cheese we have runs out. http://rapidshare.com/files/11459964..._my_Cheese.mp3 eBook... http://rapidshare.com/files/87445196..._My_Cheese.rar |
