Expect more tuts on MultiGame Creation, SMB media/homebrew streaming, and a downloadable pack of every theme out on internet.

Requirements:
North American/European Wii with internet connectivity
SD Card (of at least 512MB) formatted to FAT (most already are) with this software pack in ROOT
Twilight Princess Retail
Internet Connection For Wii

PHASE 1 - This part is the Twilight hack and HBC installation. (Thx 2 Team Twiizers.)

1) First of all you need to indentify your system menu version. This can be foud by going to Wii Settings and be we displayed across the top of the screen. 3.1-3-3 use the Twilight Hack -3.3.zip and extract it to the root of your SD card where it will create a folder called private, containing the Save Hack, 3.4 users need to extract the TwiligHack 3.4.zip instead. you should now have a the correct Save Hack on the SD-Card.

Please also RENAME the HACKSPAL or HACKSNTSC file depending on your region to HACKS.INI and place on the ROOT of SD.

2) If you have never played Zelda you need to play it once and create a save file, or you cant copy Twilight. If you want to keep your save file, you must back up your save to SD card and transfer it to the computer before attempting SoftMii installation. Twilight Hack overwrites the save stored on the SD card, so be careful.
3) Once u restart, remove your Zelda save and copy over Save Hack for your region from SD to the System. They Will Be Indentified On There Icon's. for info visit http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Twilight_Ha
4) Start Zelda regularly, load the Twilight Hack save, walk backward.
5) HBC installer will begin answer yes to everything. Your system will restart with HBC installed.
6) Start the Home-brew Channel, and load "#1 Wad Manager" you find will find in the list of programs.
7) Select “Load From SD”, and then select “IOS16.wad” and press (+) to install
8) Press the "Home" button when it finishes.
9) Go into Home Brew Channel Once More And Run "#9 WadManager IOS16"
10) Select "Load From SD" once more and this time install "cIOSrev7.wad"

PHASE 2 – This Will Downgrade Us

11) Return to Homebrew Channel and run “IOS Downgrader”, if some things fail, run it once more. Ask for help if need-be. ( #SoftMii on EFnet) .
12) Run HBC (HomeBrew Channel) Now select SoftMii Nand Browser and Load the app. Once loaded please navigate to the following directory: TITLE/00000001/00000002/ Now press up on the dpad 3 times and then press A. - Now you need to select your original system menu app file. If you are NTSC , the file is 00000042.APP or if you are PAL, the file is 00000045.APP. Press the + button once you highlight your regions app and it will then be copied to the SD card. Press HOME to ext the app once file written to SD msg appears. NOTE : This is your backup to restore your system menu back to normal using
13) Select and load #3 AnyRegionChanger 1.1 M5....it'll mention about Korean Discs, IGNORE14) Get into the options (Press A), and IGNORE the top section which has region change stuff and EULA stuff.
15) Look at the mid-bottom options, about installing 3.2 (or 3.3K), and leave it on 3.2E for PAL /3.2U for NTSC
16) Click "GO" and then answer then answer YES when it asks if you are sure.
17) Answer "NO" when it asks about Korean Disc Loading
18) Answer "YES" when it asks you to install SPECIAL STARFALL TYPE-HACKS. Wait for finish, can take a few minutes. Then press HOME when finished to reboot.

PHASE 3 – OK We should now have a nice 3.2 system installation. Now we can really get going*

18b) If you previously had Preloader installed run #7 Hack Remover. It will remove your old hack.ini.
19) OK now select #4 Pre Loader from the HomeBrew Channel. Read the warning and press 1 to install.

IF YOUR SYSTEM DOESNT REBOOT INTO PRELOADER, SIMPLY POWER DOWN AND POWER UP ONCE MORE, BUT AS SOON AS YOU POWER UP, PRESS AND HOLD RESET

21) Select “System hacks” ->
22) Enable all the hacks you would like, (recommended - Skip Updates, Move Disc Channel and all No Copy)
23) Select "save settings" and wait for confirmation message to display “Settings Saved”
24) Press B, and enter Settings
25) Set "auto boot: System" (using the D-Pad Arrows), and save settings with A, then Press B
26) Get back to the system menu. By selecting “Load System Menu”
27) Run HBC
28) Run #5 CIOSCORP Installer. It may freeze briefly.
29) Exit and reboot.
30). Launch #6 SoftMii Tweak Toy, select the custom menu u would like *REMEMBER 42.app forNTSC, 45.app for PAL

2) Check that the Wii homebrew launcher install successfully.
3) Remove HBC like a regular channel, through the wii settings, data management, channels, select HBC, delete.

PS- A brief word on the Link

To best use this link, when the spam demands an email address make something up and have it end in @mt2009.com. (Or use your real one, but you'll get just one spam email.) Click the download link above the 2nd "offer". I use sharecash because they offer no Up/Download restrictions like MU/RS.

i posted this on my old forum last year, heres clearer instructions and links that dont require you to take up offers :

Notice in the instructions you need an ORIGINAL copy of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but you can rent it and use it for this because you only need it one time.

========================
Backup Launcher 0.3 beta
by WiiGator
========================

** NOTE - DO NOT DO ANY UPDATES ON YOUR WII - IF YOU UPDATE REGULARLY THIS WILL NOT WORK OR MAY BE DISABLED **

Waninkoko also released an IOS downgrader for those that updated with the official update - if you decide to use this then you are doing so at YOUR OWN RISK - the decision is yours, but best of luck with all

This is a brief How to on getting your nintendo Wii to play the DVDr backup games without a Mod Chip in the Wii. Big respect to WiiGator for creating this loader and well done to Waninkoko for getting the ball rolling.

Lets just hope people realize how much work he put into this and contribute to his cause when you can.

What you need :
***************
1. Nintendo Wii with wii controller and nunchuck.
2. Legends of Zelda Original Game
3. SD Memory Card (any size)
4. Shop Channel update (part of the rar)
5. Homebrew Installer (part of the rar)
6. IMGBurn or Nero

Brief:

Everything that you need is contained in this Zip - put the whole lot onto an SD card and we can move on from there.
Since this is a beta some games still wont work - check for compatibility on the thread.- http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.p...up_Launcher_v3

Stage 1 : Install homebrew Channel
**********************************
1. Start up the Wii with legends of Zelda and save a game.
2. Put the Homebrew installer onto an SD Card by unzipping it to the root
3. Quit the game and go to Wii Menu - Wii OPtions - Data Management - Save Data - Wii and delete the Zelda Saved File.
4. Click the SD card tab at the top and select the EUR file (for Europe) or US (for US) and when asked to copy to the wii system memory select Yes
5. Go back to the zelda game and start it - and select the saved game Twilight Hack.
6. Talk to the man by pressing A - and wait for an install screen
7. Click Accept (1 button) to all of the menus
8. Upon returning to the Wii menu , you will have Homebrew Installed (may need a hard reboot at this stage)

Stage one complete !

Info :
The homebrew channel includes a few games like Tetris, Doom , Quake and a few more and has a Homebrew browser for anyone who wants more homebrew applications.
I have also recently included the Wii MPLayer that lets you listen to streaming audio with your wii ... not classy looking but it works well. mplayerwii.conf is where you find the stations.

Stage 2 : Install the rest
**************************
1. Go to the Homebrew Channel and select safe update 3.3u - this will update the wii with the recent nintendo releases and save you headaches in the future (Thanks tona)
2. In the homebrew channel select cIOS Installer and install that - all files required are also in the zip so it should be quick (Thanks WiiGator)
3. Select number 6 - WAD manager and install the BackupLoaderChannel0.3.wad file (Thanks Tgames)
4. Burn your ISO to disc (no need to patch them with this version) and get ready to play games.
Stage 2 complete !

Stage 3 : (Optional) Backup a game from the wii
************************************************
1. Start up the wii and go to the homebrew channel
2. Go to to Homebrew channel once again and select Wii DVD Dumper (This is by Waninkoko v1.2)
3. Select Wifi Network Backup
4. Select the game type - usually Wii Single Layer
5. On your PC/Laptop , open Firefox (IE may give errors -10056) and type in the link the Wii gives you
6. Wait 2-4 hours and you have a ISO for yourself (dependant on your wifi speeds)

**********************************************
Updating from the old Installer
**********************************************

If you wish to update from the old installer all you need to do is :
1. Copy the 'apps/2. cIOS_Installer' and '00000001' (to root) to their respective folders on your memory card
2. Copy the BackupLoaderChannel0.3.wad in the wads folder into the SD card WAD folder
3. Start Homebrew and go to the cIOS Installer and run it
4. Go to the WAD Manager and install the BackupLoaderChannel0.3.wad (BackupLoaderChannel0.2.wad may need to be uninstalled)
5. Run the game.
6. I would also recommend installing the safe update 3.3u and not to do any official nintendo updates as it may stop further installs and updates.

Can also try this as it won't require the zelda game.

Thumbs up

All you need is BootMii

Quote:
BootMii is a piece of software that can be installed as an IOS or inserted into the boot process. As an IOS, it provides a fast way to back up your Wii's internal NAND flash memory, and will eventually form the basis of a new generation of homebrew applications for the Wii. Inserted into the boot process, BootMii provides you with a "safety net" -- you can back up your entire Wii to SD in under three minutes! If you were to brick your Wii, BootMii would still run and let you restore your backup from SD, quickly and painlessly. BootMii also allows you to directly boot The Homebrew Channel or other homebrew from SD, bypassing the "warning screen" and the rest of the menu.
